Letter received on April 2007:
Dear Piper and Team,
I received the letter we wrote ourselves back in January at UW Career Center.
It was interesting to read through it and understand that each of the steps I wrote in my action plan has helped me make a big transition. Since we last met, I continued to interview, network and align my projects at work with what I would want my next job to be like. Other action items I listed in my letter were things like developing a list of top choice companies, gaining clarity around my strengths and weakness, etc. All of this was helpful as I recently got an offer to join a global consulting firm and continue my work in the marketing space. This is exactly what my goals and vision were when we first got together and I am extremely excited about the change!!!! I am getting ready to make this transition in the next few weeks.
In retrospect, having an action plan that we developed in January, plus our additional meeting helped me crystallize my thoughts and ideas. Thank you for all your help and support in the earlier stages!
Kind regards,
Olga
